With years of experience of dealing with warranty companies and working through claims and all of the stuff that is not covered, at station garage we do things a little differently.
Our primary aim
Our primary aim is to keep our customers happy and to be as fair as possible. For many years now we have administered our own guarantees and it works very well for all of our customers. Before this we gave a booklet warranty and we would find that most problems that crop up tend to be a bulb or a squeak or a funny noise and these things will never be covered on any warranty. We would always look after these issues as this is just good customer service.
A Station Garage Guarantee
A Station Garage Guarantee is there to help you buy with confidence. A light, a noise any concerns we would prefer to see the vehicle back so that our trained staff can check and fix the fault. However we do realise that this isn't always possible if you live further away. Visit your local Garage/Repairer and keep us in the loop and we can authorise repairs or diagnostics to resolve any issues with your chosen agent.
Your cover is the same whether you have a 3 or 6 months policy this will be on your invoice and held on our sales records. We can't cover when the vehicle has been used under extreme conditions i.e. Taxi, Track driving, mechanical neglect (All faults must be reported immediately, always stop driving if you have a warning light and check with a member of staff before continuing your journey). Suspension coil springs will not be covered after two months as we cannot guarantee how fast drivers are going over speed bumps and bumping up curbs and this tends to be the main reason for breakage. Clutches will be covered but not if found to have been worn excessively due to incorrect driving or extreme conditions (example towing).
